TYR is thrilled to present you Urth's latest and most luxurious collection! 16 Fingering is a 100% extrafine Merino yarn, spun from only the finest fibres available.
Usually, the lovely soft Merinos we enjoy are spun from fibres of 19.5 microns (19.5 millionth of a metre), which makes them ultra soft. The finer the strand, the softer the yarn.
This latest yarn uses 16 micron (16 millionth of a metre) merino fibres: as fine as Grade A cashmere, which is approximately 14 to 16 microns.
