During our Marling Lesson, we placed a special focus on the importance of allowing ourselves to play and embrace the joy of experimentation. Letting go of the pressure to achieve specific outcomes and instead, giving ourselves the freedom to explore, led to some truly breathtaking results. The magic of Marling lies in its unpredictability and the surprises it brings to our knitting projects. By encouraging each participant to trust their instincts and follow their creative impulses, we witnessed the blossoming of unique and inspired designs.
My adventure at the Karoo Winter Wool Festival'23 was a personal and fun-filled experience that will forever hold a special place in my heart. As we delved into the Karoo, and participated in this great event, I was able understand our place in the wool cycle community a little better, to spread the joy of beautiful yarns a little further and I understood how, we are all inter-connected, after all.
