Cabot Trail is silky, soft & vegan!

Strong, shiny yet soft, it is unique, moisture wicking and hypoallergenic. With anti-microbial and temperature regulating properties, AS WELL AS unmatched colour saturation, this yarn is truly amazing. And did we mention great value? It packs an astounding 730m in just 110g. We love it!

This silky yarn is named after the winding roads of Cape Breton in Canada.

Fabulous in silky shawls, lacy tops and any project which requires good stitch definition, clever temperature management and incredible drape.

From the creator of THY's, Samantha: Trailhead Yarns all started with summer in one of the most beautiful places on earth. The Cabot Trail showed new beauty daily and inspired Samantha to interpret it on yarn. In the Spring of 2013 Trailhead Yarns was created and started selling hand-dyed Canadian wool. In 2016 a life-changing wool allergy had Samantha looking for non-wool options and realised the lack of quality options. The new mission for Trailhead Yarns was created. To provide beautiful hand-dyed yarns for those with allergies, living in warmer climates, wanting wash and wear as well as vegans yarns.

100% Tencel. This is an environmentally responsible fibre which is produced in a closed-loop process. Yarn that is gorgeous and that is good for the environment? We cannot ask for more!

Lace weight 10-12 sts/in 110 grams, 730 meters

Spun in Germany. Hand-dyed in the Ottawa Valley, Canada.
