Hybrid Triangular Shawl // Design By Anniken Allis
This shawl is worked from the top down with a centre insertion panel which creates a lovely shape that sits nicely on the shoulders. The shawl is shaped by working increases at the beginning, end, and either side of the central insertion, on every other row.
Yarn: 1 skein SweetGeorgia CashSilk Lace in Oceanside (400 yds / 365 m per 1.76 oz / 50 g skein; 55% Silk, 45% Cashmere)
Needles: Size 4 US / 3.5 mm circular needles, 32″ / 80 cm or longer Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Gauge: 20 sts and 30 rows = 4″ / 10 cm in chart D, after blocking
Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size. finished measurements: 50″ / 127 cm wide and 19″ / 48 cm deep
